League City, Texas: World's Largest Collection of Mounted Longhorn Heads and Skulls (In Transition)
Opened in May 2009, the Butler Longhorn Museum displays old guns, ranch tools, and lots of decapitated cattle with ample long horns. Moving to Galveston in late 2023.

- Butler Longhorn Museum. I-45 exit 23. Drive east on Hwy 518/Main St. into downtown. After 2.5 miles, turn left at the gas station onto Alabama Ave. Drive three blocks. At the stop sign turn left onto Coryell St. Drive about a half-mile, and you'll see the museum on the right.

[Shawn, 12/03/2023]The Museum announced today it relocating after ongoing disputes with the city. Destination is currently unknown but the museum looks to be closing doors at the end of September 2021 in the present location. Check with them before heading over.
