- Not recommended during monsoon season (June 15-Sep. 30). I-19 exit 48 (Amado). Drive west 22.5 miles on Arivaca Rd. Once in Arivaca, turn left at the brown highway sign toward Arivaca Lake. Drive a half-mile. Bear left onto Ruby Rd. Drive 11 miles (the last six miles are dirt) into the Coronado National Forest, then turn right onto Ruby Access Rd.
