Entrance is at street level on the back side (north) of the Empress Hotel. Amazing layouts of different themes from wars, to circus, to fairy tales. Incredible detail. Most displays have a button to push to activate or light the displays.

It's in Canada, so Miniature World is accordingly a little more bland and polite than its U.S. equivalents of Tiny Town in Arkansas or Roadside America in Pennsylvania. But it still offers plenty of quirky, scaled-down amusement -- including an outer space section and a fairy tale exhibit interspersed between displays of antique aircraft and lumber operations ("not operable due to fire department restrictions"). Great postcards available of normal sized people, with remarkable 1980s hair intruding into the microcosm.
