We arrived just as it was closing at 9 pm. They did let us cross and come back in the dark. It was very fun, we rolled down the windows and enjoyed the sounds of the wooden slats.

The toll collector said it's the "only privately owned toll bridge that crosses a border." I couldn't confirm or deny it by a quick internet search. We accidently found it while Rebecca and British Kate (the selected Garmin personality) were disagreeing on the best route from Farnham's.
