Grand Junction, Tennessee: National Bird Dog Museum

A trove of taxidermy, including Count Noble the dog, who died in 1890. Statues of famous hunting dogs, and a showcase displaying the hats of their owners. Outdoor "Walk of Champions" has statues of famous dogs.

Four miles north of the Mississippi state line. From Hwy 18 turn east onto Hwy 57 (Bank of Fayette County on corner). Drive about a mile on Hwy 57. You'll see the museum on the right.
Tu-F 9-2, Sa 10-4, Su 1-4. Gated after hours. (Virus outbreak may affect access to attraction. Call to verify.)

A unique little museum. It has a great collection of creepy taxidermy. Most notable artifact in the collection is "Count Noble," a taxidermied bird dog that died in 1890.
