Go in the winter. If you are daring enough, go there 1-2 hours before sunrise. You can watch the Earth rotate and the sun come around the planet. Best viewed from the end of the Salt Trail in the middle of the valley. Bring red flashlights to keep your eyes adjusted, dress warm! Camping chair and hot drinks means you are playing at pro level.
