Olympic Game Farm

We two had a blast with this up close experience. The animals were very friendly and looked well cared for. They were clean, their large enclosures were tidy, and they looked healthy. There were many personable staff around making sure their rules were followed for everyone's protection. We could only feed them the bread we bought there. We bought two loaves and fed the animals a half slice at a time. We also walked through an area.

Olympic Game Farm

I visited here a few years back. The rhinos looked kinda sad, and the bison were very... friendly. One of them rubbed up against the hood of our car. Apparently they rub up against things to clean themselves of dirt and parasites. If you're going to go, make sure your car is durable, but honestly I'd say skip it and go to Northwest Trek Wildlife Park where you know the wildlife is taken care of.

Northwest Trek offers tram tours of its park, which is somehow less memorable than having your own vehicle permanently scarred by an over-friendly bison or nosy reindeer.

Olympic Game Farm

Wild animal game farm used by Disney.

[Mike Gailey, 04/22/2015]

Take a drive-in-your-own-car tour of the game farm that once supplied Walt Disney with the animals for his nature documentaries. Wave to bears. Feed a buffalo from your car window. (Basically the kind of things you used to be able to do at Yellowstone.) Open since 1972.
