- Directions:
- Drive north out of Florence on Hwy 79, cross the (dry) Gila River, then turn left at milepost 136 onto Hunt Hwy. Drive west 1.5 miles. You'll see a small brown sign on the right, "Poston Butte Monument Park." Turn right, follow the dirt road to the parking area, then follow the trail on foot a half-mile up the hill to the pyramid.

Charles D. Poston, who was buried in Phoenix in 1902, was dug out of his grave 23 years later and moved to this 14-foot-high pyramid on a hilltop out in the desert.
