The story behind the Watermelon House sounds too good to be true, but who knows? Supposedly the owners hired someone to paint the house red, but instead got a color closer to pink. Turning Pepto-Bismol into lemonade, the owners added some black "seeds" and a green "rind" and turned their pink house into the Watermelon House.
