The Bad News Bears Field
Classic place that inspired a very funny movie. The park is well maintained and has easy access and ample parking.
[R Mogel, 01/28/2023]The genesis for the 1976 screenplay of "The Bad News Bears" began on this baseball field. Although most of the baseball scenes were filmed in Chatsworth, this is where the author of the script, Bill Lancaster, played little league baseball. Lancaster died in 1997. Some time after that, the park was named after his script: The Bad News Bears Field.
