I was just in downtown St. Paul and was sad to see that Mickey's was closed. After some research I learned that due to the pandemic they couldn't open and make any money with just the minimal diners required by CDC recommendations.
Mickey's literally hadn't closed since it first opened back 1939, except for a few Christmas days. Not sure if it will reopen.

In downtown St. Paul you can eat at a famous diner that has been around since 1937. Mickey's Dining Car has been featured in films such as The Mighty Ducks, Jingle All the Way, and A Prairie Home Companion, as well as many music videos. It's a 24 hour diner that is only 50 feet long by 10 feet wide.
