- Hwy 3 take Keyport exit. Drive east on Hwy 308 for three miles. Cross a little bridge, then make first right at big white pylons. Once past the pylons, make first left to the museum.

Undersea warfare is on display at this free museum on the Kitsap Peninsula. The technological changes through the years as well as submarine life shown off for all of us landlubbers.

I've taken my family here several times over the last 20 years, and my three sons have loved it every time. To see the history of torpedoes and actually play in the command center of a nuclear submarine was a fantastic hit. Lots of hands-on excitement. The display changes over time so it's fun to go back and see what's new.
