Naval Undersea Museum

I've taken my family here several times over the last 20 years, and my three sons have loved it every time. To see the history of torpedoes and actually play in the command center of a nuclear submarine was a fantastic hit. Lots of hands-on excitement. The display changes over time so it's fun to go back and see what's new.

Naval Undersea Museum

A great, free, Navy-supported undersea museum featuring the history of undersea exploration and naval torpedoes and mines.

[Darryl, 05/31/2015]

This museum has an outdoor display of deep sea Bathyscaphes and the largest collection of torpedoes in the U.S. -- including a rare World War II Japanese suicide torpedo.
