Hubbard Tower.

Hubbard Tower

Off the beaten path, you'll find a beautiful rock tower. Go to Hubbard Park, then walk the path 10 minutes to the tower (Go as far as GPS will take you in the park). You can climb to the top and see panoramic views of the mountains of Vermont.

The Tower looks like it was built by Vikings, but it opened in 1930. Workers spent 15 years stacking and mortaring its rocks. It's as tall as a five-story building.
