Teal Dinosaur

A less-than-pretty dinosaur in front of a gift shop, between Vernal and the turn-off for Dinosaur National Park. Not as attractive as the other dinos in Vernal, but busted dinosaurs need love, too!

[Steph, 07/06/2015]

The dinosaur supposedly dates to the late 1940s, when it was built for the Dinosaur Gas Station and Gift Shop (now a cafe). It had a car horn in its mouth that the owner would use to honk at tourists.
