Wow, what a sight! Collector Alan Whitaker has amassed an amazing array of 50-plus oval gas station signs in the side yard of his shop. He saw me walking around in awe and invited me in to see his "indoor" collection of dozens of additional gas station signs, gas pump globes, a few pinball machines, and dozens of neon clocks! What dedication he has to keeping this stuff in great, running condition. All I could say as I walked out was, "Thank you."

Great place to stop and stretch. Only a couple minutes off I-65. The owners have recently put up a cool swirling colored mechanism in the center. Enjoy!

[Samantha, 09/24/2018]Ray was out on the road but Shawn happened to be there. He told us all about the signs and the plans for the site. A very knowledgeable guy! Great place to stretch our legs and take some photos with the signs in the background.

That's a Roto-Sphere, a space age rotating neon sign from the 1960s. Few still turn, but this one still works.
