Scrap Metal Sculptures

In Kansas on hwy 99 going north, east of Wichita, in the town of Howard is a fantastic collection of scrap metal "sculptures" , the tin man from Wizard of Oz, batman and his motorcycle, an outhouse tumbled by a tornado, so many more......also on Hwy 96 between hwy 99 and Augusta, are several nice sculptures.....a praying mantis attacking a fly, and an indian shooting a buffalo. These are the highpoints of my trip when I travel to Wichita on the backroads.

Tipster Robert Collins tells us "The 'junk' sculptures in Howard are known locally as Hubble's Rubble People."
