When coming south on I15, we took the first Beaver exit. Follow the road through town to the one and only stop light. Turn west. Follow highway 21 to Milford. Watch for the sign in Milford for highway 21. Continue in 21 to the summit. The dirt road off to the right is just before the summit sign. You can see them from the highway.

An old mining town offers great ghost town exploring. Incredible giant beehive looking structures on the hills which are actually old charcoal kilns. You can still smell the smoke in them.
Be very careful of the abundant ant hills. Roads are sketchy and would not go without a 4x4 during rainy or wintery conditions. Ely highway ~10 miles outside of Milford.
