Jesus in a Glass Box

The statue was carved from a cypress log in 1999 by the late Willie Logan. It's a representation of the 23rd Psalm ("The Good Shepherd"), which was the favorite Bible passage of Pearlie Mae Williamson. Her son, Johnny Williamson, came up with the idea as a tribute to his deceased mother.

Good Shepherd Statue: Christ Behind Glass

A 6.5-foot-tall statue of The Good Shepherd with his sheep. This is in my yard. Visitors are welcome to visit and take pictures. Be sure to pick up a flyer which gives all the facts around the inspiration and erection of this community icon.

Jesus in a Glass Box

On US Hwy 43 (on the right, going south) is a large glass box with a large Jesus figure inside. You can see it as you drive by.

It appears to be a front lawn shrine of some sort: Jesus, a lamb, and an American flag.
