Sheridan, Arkansas: Fake B-17 Bomber Marks Crash Site
A B-17 Flying Fortress bomber crashed in 1943, killing its crew. In 2015, after years of work, the American Legion erected a full-size replica of the plane on the spot, the centerpiece of an acre-size memorial carved out of the woods.

- From the intersection of US-270 and 167 in Sheridan, drive north on US-167 for one mile. Turn left at the stoplight onto AR-35. Drive 2.5 miles. Turn right onto Grant County Rd 51. Drive two miles. You'll see the plane on the right.
