What happened to all those lions that used to live inside the MGM Grand Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas? They moved to a nearby desert preserve. 40 retired on nine acres.

- At the southern desert edge of the Las Vegas sprawl. I-15 exit 27. Drive east on Hwy 146/St. Rose Pkwy for less than a mile. Turn right onto Bruner Ave. (It's a small road). Drive a half-mile. You'll see the entrance on the right.

Beautiful lions. I do hate to see them behind bars, however they seem content and well taken care of. We were there for their afternoon feeding. There is a giraffe there and he paints. Very cute.
