Albany, Oregon: Carousel With Mythical Creatures
Volunteers in Albany labored since 2005 to carve and build their own carousel. Opened in 2017, along with a carousel museum. The carvings include a unicorn, a hippocampus, a giant poodle, Pegasus, dragons, horses, whales, and more.

The beautiful carousel has been lovingly restored. Take the time to go downstairs for a tour of the workshop, as it will make you appreciate all of the work done by the volunteers to restore this magnificent creation. Special Tip: the last ride of the day is free!
