Albert and Henry Fountain Disappearance Marker

Mr. Fountain and his son Henry were heading home to Mesilla from Lincoln and both disappeared in the White Sands desert area.

This relatively new marker replaces an earlier version, which claimed that it was their murder site. The date was Feb. 1, 1896. They were presumably killed by cattle rustlers.
