Popeye Statue
A few years ago, a friend from work pointed out the fact that the Popeye Statue in Springdale was missing the large smoking pipe that had been made to look like a giant corn-cob pipe. He also pointed out that the pipe could be found in the portable drug bust information tent that the Benton County Sheriff's office sets up at local county fairs. It is not known if the Sheriff's office is aware that its Popeye's pipe or not, but it was being used by someone to smoke large quantities of a different kind of greens.
