Lynnfield, Massachusetts: Skull Cliff
In 2001, artist "Ichabod" covered this 30-ft. tall cliff with rows of painted human skulls. 2020: reported partly damaged by moron vandals with paint.

- The unmarked trail head is behind the car dealership located at 325 Broadway. At the beginning of the path, it parallels a section of swamp on the right and a large outcropping of rock. Eventually the path and the swamp veer right, but follow the rock outcropping on the left. After clambering up a bit of a rise, you find Skull Cliff.

Skull cliff is a 30-foot-tall rock cliff face from an old quarry that is completely painted over in bands of skulls and bones. Artist "Ichabod" hand-lettered the completion date (2001), along with this advice: "Take the knowledge that you will someday be these bones and enjoy now all that is precious."
At 325 Broadway in Lynnfield there is a car dealership -- in the back are about 6-8 parking spots for Lynn Preservation. A straight walk in on trails will lead you to it 8-10 min. walk.
