Papalote Creek Wind Farm

At the Papalote Creek Wind Farm you can stand within 100 feet of the base of a wind turbine. With dozens of turbines in every direction, it is a visually overwhelming experience. All of the turbines are approximately 400 feet high.

[Amanda Furr, 10/28/2015]

This wind farm has photo-friendly merit because the ground is flat, there are nearly 200 turbines, and many of them are next to county roads with not much traffic.
