Where Poe Had His Last Drink

The Horse You Came In On Saloon is the oldest continuously operating bar in Maryland, and the place where Edgar Allan Poe had his final drink before collapsing a few hours later and dying. The owners have marked the seat where Poe sat as "Poe's Last Stand." The place is reputedly haunted by Poe's ghost, but we were too busy eating onion rings to notice any paranormal activity.
