Mackinac Island, Michigan: Is it you? Monument: Somewhere In Time
A plaque-on-a-rock marks the spot where 1980 Christopher Reeve meets 1912 Jane Seymour in the romantic time-travel film "Somewhere In Time."

- Lake Shore Drive, Mackinac Island, MI
- Directions:
- On the water side of Lake Shore Drive (which is a glorified bicycle path) directly south of the Grand Hotel. Heading north on the path there's a boardwalk on the water side; when it ends you'll see trees up ahead; the monument is underneath those trees.
- Hours:
- Limited access in winter. Local health policies may affect hours and access.
- Admission:
- Free, but ferry fee to get to the island.

We visited the "Is It You?" monument on our honeymoon: November 8, 2019. In our photos you can see the monument stone plus the two trees visible in the plaque photo on the monument.

The 1980 film "Somewhere In Time" was filmed on Mackinac Island. At the ending scene, the two main characters meet by a tree, and ascend into heaven. There is a monument at the spot that commemorates the event.
