- Lynchburg Expy exit 8A. Drive a quarter-mile, then turn right at the stoplight (Arby's) onto Wards Rd. Drive a quarter-mile. Turn left (no stoplight) onto White Oak Drive. You'll see a teal blue building on the right; the Easter Island Head is just beyond it.

There's a big moai head outside a jewelry and gift shop named Easter Island. I have no idea how long the head's been there, but the business was started in 1987 (although at a different location).
