Rosa Parks refused to give up her bus seat in 1955, helping spark the Civil Rights movement. That was in Montgomery, Alabama, but Parks statues have recently appeared near bus stations in other cities. Rosa Parks statues are perhaps the only "sit with a historical figure" sculptures where the seat is part of the history.
