This thing is huge!!
[Joe Orost, 06/22/2019]You should see his library.
In front of the Public Library in Detroit Lakes is a huge, brand-new statue of a child reading a book. It was designed with the intention for kids to climb and pose on it.
[BS Meyer, 11/12/2015]The statue, by local sculptor Hans Gilsdorf, was unveiled Sep. 10, 2015. Although it looks like bronze, it's actually epoxy-coated concrete -- bronze would be too hot to climb on.
