Directions:: The bridge deer is on the north side of the W. Rich St. bridge across the Scioto River in midtown. The bridge is one bridge south of the US Hwy 40 bridge and two bridges north of the I-70 bridge.

Deer Statues - Scioto Lounge

There are three life-sized statues of deer with human characteristics near the Scioto River in downtown Columbus. One is leaning over bridge railing, one lounging on the lawn and one sitting on steps near the science museum. Created by artist Terry Allen.

Deer on a Bridge

A new downtown public art display features three deer in human poses. One deer is standing on the W. Rich Street bridge over the Scioto River. It is standing on its hind legs and appears to be taking in the view. The other two are on the east side of the COSI Museum in Genoa Park on Washington Blvd. One is sitting on the steps leading to the river and the other is lounging on the grass. All three were designed by Terry Allen of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
