Ok, I have to say upfront that I am not at all interested in planes... We stopped for my husband. But this was a really interesting, and surprisingly large, museum. Almost all the planes are still able to fly and there are air shows during the summer. Already planning a return trip!

Three full hangars of working WWII planes and displays. Hangar One has the trainer planes, a glider, some vehicles and a stray WWI bi-plane and a small gift shop. It also connects to the machine shop where planes that are undergoing inspection are being worked on. Hangar Two has planes, artwork, D-Day landing bronze work and library; Hangar Three has more planes, displays and a Holocaust train car shipped from Germany. Behind the hangars is a control tower you can climb, and a bunker.
