Weir dam area is a nice area to have a picnic or to fish. Very clean area. This is the first Weir dam I have ever seen. It's a very calm area; nice just to sit and listen to the water run over the dam.

This big earth dam was built in 1950. The weirs were added below the dam in 1991 to add oxygen for fish. If you drive further up the road you can drive across the dam, drive in front of the dam, sit on the dam, etc. It's a very people-friendly dam.
