[Ron Vogel, 04/04/2016]Headland, Alabama claims to be "Peanut Capital of the World." Unveiled in 2015, this large fiberglass peanut was customized into a likeness of "Dancin' Dave" Whatley, a beloved fixture on the town's streets. He wore a white suit, white parade gloves, and a white sailor cap with the word "DAVE" on it. He danced for anyone he met.
