St. Petersburg, Florida: Big Red Shark Eats You
Painted in late 2015, a giant shark mural is on a blood-red outside wall, angled downward so that people who stand in front of it are inside its toothy gaping jaws. More fun than most murals.

- Downtown, on the south side of 1st Ave. N. opposite its intersection with Mirror Lake Drive N. Set back from the street, at the back of a parking lot, painted on the east-facing wall of the State Theatre. You'll see a gaudy mural facing the street; the shark mural is on an adjacent wall, harder to see from the street.

The shark is cool! Couple things - there are a ton of cool murals in that area! A sharp, attentive eye is needed to locate the shark. Other thing is that there's a parking lot right in front of the shark mural, so there were trucks there that kinda ruined the intended photos we wanted to get. Go early!
