The museum suffered serious vandalism to its collection in early July 2018. Over $110,000 in damage was inflicted and the financial stability of this 50+ year old attraction is threatened. They are still open and giving tours, and they need your help more than ever! If you love Transit and urban history, the ride along the Fox River should not be missed.

Not a huge museum, but inexpensive with some nice rolling stock and short rides through the Forest Preserve offered.
