Dug into the banks of Terlingua Creek by the late Gil Felts. Its mascot is its "Penisaurus Erectus" skeleton. Temporarily closed as of August 2024.

On the south side of Hwy 170, about 1.5 miles west of Hwy 118, and just west of the bridge across Terlingua Creek.

Self-described "dinosaur cave bar with BBQ," La Kiva was dug into the banks of Terlingua Creek in 1979 by the late Gil Felts. Its mascot is the "Penisaurus Erectus" skeleton embedded in one of its interior walls.
