Very close to the highway -- and so totally worth a 5 minute stop. We had fun looking at the cars and all the dummies, but my kids were a little freaked out.

Bizarre! Well worth a drive if you are anywhere within an hour of it. You really will spend the whole time there thinking who does this? And why? I bet a night visit would be even freakier.

Authentic throwback to the days of yesteryear. The gas station has a nice collection of older real-world vehicles (not shiny show cars) filled with mannequins, as well as old signs covering the walls in the station office. If you are lucky to be there at the same time as the owners, you might be able to get a story or two out of them. Rumor has it, the monkeys in the taxicab are from the Barnum and Bailey circus.

Great stop with nice pull off.
[Rick Ohmit, 08/27/2016]East of Macon, MO on Hwy 36 sits an old gas station complete with cars at the pumps, a police car, and all appear to be occupied.......until you get closer and realize they are mannequins. Weird little place to stumble onto.
