Penny the Dog

The Penny the Dog sign is at Regions Park, home of the Birmingham Barons. She appears to be in great condition, overlooking right field. If you're in downtown Birmingham, it's worth it to see this Old School advertising piece.

Vintage billboard of a dog. It was not moving when we were there.

[Jessica Miller, 04/20/2017]

Penny is engineered to be capable of rolling her eyes and wagging her tail, but possibly active only when a game is in progress at the adjacent Birmingham Barons ballpark.

Penny the Dog

Penny was there, but not moving. Maybe they only turn on during game day? In the parking lot at Regions park, above entry gate.
