Directions:: From Perryopolis, drive east on Layton Rd. You'll cross a river and train tracks, and then the road will turn sharply right, then left. After that, take the first right onto Circle Rd. The house is the first one on the right. Private property; please do not trespass.

Silence of the Lambs House

The drive to the house is great, over a one-lane bridge and through a one-lane tunnel. It's on private land. Able to take photos from the train tracks.

Dr. Lecter advised us that it's safer to take photos of the front of the house from Circle Road, rather than the back of the house while standing on active railroad tracks.

Exteriors were shot here for the 1991 film of the elusive house where Buffalo Bill had his victim pit and his little dog and his bottle of lotion. At night we could never hear the lambs screaming because that train was so loud.
