- Oxford Memorial Cemetery. From Courthouse Square go north on N. Lamar Blvd. Turn east on Jefferson Ave. Turn north on N. 16th St. The cemetery will be on your right. Stay on N. 16th Street, however, as the grave is at the bottom of the hill on N.16th St, just east of the historical marker.

The professor may need to modify his theory: William Faulkner died in 1962, and George Dickel brand "whisky" -- Dickel always left out the "e" -- wasn't introduced until 1964. Faulkner perhaps favored Cascade Whisky, which was produced by the George Dickel Company during his lifetime.
