Berkeley Heights, New Jersey: Deserted Village of Feltville
The village had several periods of activity, but always ended up deserted. The restored "Masker's Barn" and tiny cemetery are two highlights.

- I-78 eastbound exit 44 (westbound, go to next exit and u-turn). At the end of the ramp turn left onto Glenside Ave. Drive a half-mile. You'll see signs for the Deserted Village on the right. Park in the lot, then walk up Cataract Hollow Rd (closed to traffic) to the village.

Run by "King David" Felt as a mill town in the 1850s. It had a second life as a rural resort circa 1900. The Village has been under slow restoration since the 1990s.
