Mount Holly, New Jersey: 200-Year-Old Haunted Prison
Opened as a prison in 1811, and looks it. Had its own gallows. One of its victims was Joel Clough, a murderer who is credited as the prison's most active ghost.

A great little stop to check out. Barbara, a member of the museum staff, was informative and really cool and gave us just the right amount of info. Then we got to explore on our own. Worth the 4 bucks!
