Vintage, restored locomotives and rolling stock in a sprawling facility. Impressive even if you're not usually into trains. Many trains visible out along the roadside.

- Pennsylvania Turnpike exit 286 (Reading). Take US Hwy 222 south to US Hwy 30 east, then turn right on to Hwy 896 south to Strasburg. Watch for the stoplight where Hwy 896 turns left onto the bypass (Historic Drive). At its intersection with Hwy 741/Gap Rd, turn left (east). Drive a third of a mile. The museum will be on the right.

Didn't know what to expect and was surprised to find a nice collection of full size trains - all inside. A huge amount of work goes into these machines and even non-enthusiasts like me can appreciate it.
