Big spur indeed. Curious as to what was here before.

What may be the World's Largest Spur is 35 feet tall, 20 feet wide, with a shank shaped like a lady's leg in a cowgirl boot. It was built in Cherokee by artist Wayland Dobbs and installed outside a real estate office in Lampasas on March 14, 2016 (that's when I took my photos). The spur weighs 10,000 pounds on a base made of 40,000 pounds of concrete. Leah Caruthers, the owner of the real estate office, commissioned the spur, and has submitted paperwork to Guinness World Records to have it verified as the World's Largest Spur. Eventually it is supposed to light up in different LED colors for local football games.
