[Eva, 09/27/2016]Magnetic Hill, also known as Gravity Hill. You roll... no, accelerate uphill! Just a couple of miles west and north of Springer. After your visit you can say you survived alien abduction at Magnetic Hill.

Magnetic Hill

- Directions:
- I-35 exit 42. Drive west 1.5 miles on Hwy 53. Turn right (north) onto Pioneer/Pit Rd. Drive one mile. You'll reach the bottom of the hill when you see gravel washed onto the blacktop. Stop, put your car in neutral, and you'll be pulled backwards, uphill (Note: up ahead you'll see the road veer sharply to the right, but if you reach this turn you've gone too far). This is a lightly traveled road, but please use your emergency flashers and be alert for other vehicles.
