Resurrection Cemetery

7200 Archer Rd, Justice, IL
I-55 exits 282 or 282-A. East across the river on Hwy 171/Archer Ave., then bear right and continue south on Hwy 171. Resurrection Cemetery entrance is on the left at 71st St. The Mausoleum can easily be seen from the road.
Interior closes at 4 pm, cemetery closes at dusk. (Call to verify) Local health policies may affect hours and access.

While being home to Resurrection Mary, Chicago's most famous ghost, Resurrection Cemetery also boasts the world's largest stained glass window, which encloses the mausoleum near the main entrance of the cemetery.

World's Largest Stained Glass Window

The world's largest stained glass window is actually in the mausoleum at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice. It contains 2,448 panels and is a whopping 22,381 square feet.

As an added note, it is only a few short miles from the Stickney water reclamation plant, the largest (and in july and august the stinkiest) sewage treatment facility in the world.
