Daytona Beach, Florida: Giant Diving Lady

Since 1965 a 16-foot-long lady in a candy-red swimsuit and cap -- a Jantzen Girl -- has been suspended above the ground somewhere in Daytona Beach. Moved to her current location in late Dec. 2018, with a historical marker explaining her significance.

Near the outdoor splash fountain at One Daytona, an outdoor shopping mall. From US Hwy 92/W. International Speedway Blvd turn north at the stoplight, opposite the Speedway, onto Daytona Blvd. Drive two blocks. Turn left onto Victory Circle.
