Floor Clock.

Giant Busted Clock

Floor Clock II, by Vito Acconci, is a 72-foot-diameter clock in a public park. The hour and minute hands of the clock were supposed to "interact" with visitors, but the hands are long gone, and the raised clock numbers are now kind of shabby, with evidence of skateboard damage and loose tiles nearby.

[John Takao Collier, 04/20/2016]

Unless you have a bombproof design, counting on the public to interact with public art is probably not a good idea.
