This painted sign is for John Lindsay for Mayor from the year 1965. It is still visible on a wall in Brooklyn.
[Erik Lander, 05/02/2016]Lindsay is remembered for calling New York "Fun City" during years when it really was not. For years this sign had been covered by a billboard attached to the wall, which accidentally preserved the painted sign underneath.
